Ways To Wear: The Tulle Skirt

Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn.” – Orson Welles

Do you ever remember dressing up as a child in your Disney princess dress and feeling like you was the most beautiful and elegant little girl in the world? I do Haha. The tulle skirt definitely gives you the same nostalgic feeling. I have always wanted one because I love the way they look. The silhouette, the way they sway on a woman as she walks… I basically wanted to twirl around like a 7 year old again. The greatest thing about these skirts are no matter what season it is, what trends are currently in. I see this as one of the must have, never goes out of style and you can make it what ever look you want it to be. As trainers on girls have been a very in trend lately, I have seen a few girls wear them with yeezy’s… I think this must of been inspired by North West’s iconic fashion sense. My personal favourite look is the band T, biker jacket and killer court heels. The elegant edge. So I decided after years of telling myself it’s over the top and people would think I was weird. I thought F*&k it. I love the skirt. I’m getting the skirt. Who cares what other people think! I did have a look on ASOS and they have some beautiful ones on there, however I wasn’t willing to spend £50 pound on one skirt because I wanted two. (true kimmyslicebomb fashion, I’ve always said if you love it get it in two colours) So I got trailing through Ebay and found a black and a grey one for £10 each. Yeah, they are from china and do have to wait 1-2 weeks for a delivery but when it saves you £80 who cares?! The two skirts are now in my closet and I love them just as much as I thought I would. Mommas with little precious daughters, immediately buy yourself and your daughter one of these and you will have the best fun of your lives together… Below I will post a few different ways to wear, as well as where you can get them from if you want one. If you do end up getting one and post a picture on instagram #SlayWithSlice so I can have a look at your outfit ideas. ❤
